Was watching Glee when I saw this guys shirt. I was all "Omg it says 'Bitch Please!'. I want it!", when in actual fact it said 'Ditch Plains', which I don't want.




That's nothing like the shirt, but yeah.

Ok, so recently I've been getting comments every day about my icons. Basically these comments are something like 'I love your icon! Edward sucks!' and all that jazz.

My icons are basically anti-Twilight and pro-Buffy, so I just wanted to thank all those who commented (even though I didn't make the icons myself), because your comments make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I know that some of you are Holmes/Watson fans (I know I will be once I see the movie), so I thought I would give you this little piece of bad news.

Apparently Guy Ritchie has been warned about the subtext between the two characters:

---The literary estate of Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has reportedly threatened to take away Ritchie's rights to the story if he includes the "homoerotic subtext" in the next Sherlock flick!

Robert Downey Jr. jokingly suggested the possibility of his character being a "very butch homosexual," but Andrea Plunket, the woman in charge of the rights to Sherlock in the U.S., was not amused.

"I hope this is just an example of Mr Downey's black sense of humor," said Plunket.

"It would be drastic, but I would withdraw permission for more films to be made if they feel that is a theme they wish to bring out in the future. I am not hostile to homosexuals, but I am to anyone who is not true to the spirit of the books," she concluded.---

What utter BS. I haven't seen the movie and I'm pissed at this. Unless it was stated in the books 'Holmes and Watson are not into each other sexually at all', why can it not be true to the books with a little bit of subtext? It's not like Guy is making them shag FFS.

Just told my dad about this and he replied 'Well there were always rumours about Sherlock'.

Yet when it comes to K/S, he has nothing.

My dad's best friend just informed me that he recently watched the new Star Trek movie, which obviously led me into a Kirk/Spock rant (and a rant about why I don't like the movie, but I seem to be one of the few). I did rant about Spock/Uhura. He referred to her as Spock's gf, I told him to stfu, but that isn't what this is about (I kinda feel sick from actually talking about them. I have issues).

First of all, I kept saying 'Kock'. Seriously, I said it 3 times. I have no idea why I couldn't say 'Kirk and Spock'. It was embarrassing and I just kept saying 'That's what we call it!', but they still gave me funny looks.

Then I went into a rant about all the slashy scenes in TOS and his response was 'You make them sound gay'. I just said 'Well duh!'.

Then I explained Vulcan kisses to him and was all 'Watch TWOK, they were totally kissing through the glass' and he went 'Really? I can't remember that', thinking that I meant human kissing. I should have gone into the whole t'hy'la thing, but I don't have the energy.

Then we ended up discussing how gay people stole the word 'gay' because it originally meant happy. So I was all 'Well wtf does straight mean?'. He sounds kinda homophobic right now, but this is the dude who helped introduced me to Will and Grace.

The convo was rather funny, but stressful. He doesn't get the Kock love I have... and that makes me sound like a whore O.O

Just heard the shocking news that Brittany Murphy died at the age of 32. Apparently she had a heart attack. I've always thought she was a brilliant actress. Girl, Interrupted is one of my favourite movies. Me and my friend would watch Cherry Falls and just laugh at the weirdness of it. Awesome movie. RIP <3

Asking on your website whether gay people should be executed or not? Wtf? Ok, I get wanting to discuss the subject after what has been going down in Uganda, but posting this question on your frickin website, where you just know hateful bigots will go? Why? Would you ask us to discuss the positive side of the KKK?

I mean seriously, one idiot said:

Clearly, he has no idea how homosexuality works. People do not just wake up one day and say 'Ooh you know what? I'm gonna be gay!'. Getting rid of gay people now, will not stop people from being gay in the future. You are born gay/straight/bi/asexual/whatever. There are gay people being born right this second. I'm so sick of the 'If being gay is natural, why can't they have kids?' argument. Maybe it's "Gods" way of population control. There are people out there who cannot naturally conceive. Should we kill them?

Oh and straight people make gay kids. Don't like it? Stop having kids.

I couldn't find anything to watch on TV and my mother said 'Is there nothing on???' and I said 'Well I can either watch Captain Kirk die in a movie that I refuse to acknowledge, or I can watch Captain Kirk fight the Gorn in the most ridiculous fight ever'.

She said 'If only you could make up the storyline yourself' and I responded 'Yep. In my storyline, Kirk and Spock would get married and have lots of sex and babies and be happy forever. Uhura would be with Scotty or Bones, just as long as she keeps her hands off Kirk's property!'. All I got in response was, '... well whatever makes you happy'.

I think I freaked her out



YAY for overusing George Bush pictures! You can tell I've had a non-productive day when I keep making random entries. Also, my last 3 entries have been on Star Trek and 2 of them K/S... I think I've crossed over into obsessive territory. You just know that soon I'll be sending fake sexy K/S pics to Pine and Quinto.

The Sky Christmas channel is showing every Star Trek movie, from TMP to Insurrection today. They will end at 01:55.

Since when are Star Trek movies considered Christmas movies?

... pretty pointless. I thought that since it was on TV, we'd watch it and I'd explain some of the Kirk/Spock slashiness that this episode exudes.

First off, my mother did not get the back rub scene. I said to her 'Did you find that a bit strange?' and she said 'Is that how they start every episode?'. Obviously, she wasn't paying attention to what was happening and tried to pretend that she was.
I pretty much gave up trying to explain everything and ended up just going completely fangirl and screaming 'Get a room!' every time they were near each other. My parents now, think I'm insane and this was confirmed when I shouted 'Go away bitch! Kirk has Spock!', to Ruth.

Oh the plus side, my dad did make me laugh. Whilst we were both laughing our arses off at Finnegan for being so OTT, I said 'Do you think that's a wig?' and he said 'I dunno'. The shot then switched to Shatner and he was all 'That is'. It's not funny to read, but for some reason, it made me lol. The timing was perfect. I laugh at anything.


Ah well. Better luck next time.

PS - How effing annoying were the females in this episode? Seriously, one knocks herself out on a tree and the other is all 'I need a strong man to protect me'. I was praying for Buffy or Xena to show up and kill them.
